Badges and streaks that reward effort
Easy Twin keeps kids coming back with eight badges and a daily practice streak. The badges celebrate persistence as much as accuracy: there's one for solving a question after using both hints and one for getting it on the third try, alongside streak badges for 3, 7, and 30 days.

Which badges can my child earn?
There are eight badges, each earned once:
| Badge | How to earn it |
|---|---|
| First Steps | Finish your very first practice |
| Sharp Shooter | Get 5 in a row without any hints |
| Curious Mind | Solve a tough one after using both hints |
| Comeback Kid | Crack a question on the third try |
| Perfect Sheet | Every question right on the first try (3 or more questions) |
| On a Roll | Practice 3 days in a row |
| Week Warrior | Practice 7 days in a row |
| Month of Mastery | Practice 30 days in a row |
Why reward hints and third tries?
Because that's what learning looks like. A child who uses both hints and then gets it has done real work, and a child who misses twice and gets it on the third try has shown persistence. Rewarding only perfect scores teaches kids to avoid hard problems. Curious Mind and Comeback Kid make it clear that sticking with a problem counts.
How do celebrations work?
Every right answer gets a celebration sized to the effort: the biggest for a first-try answer with no hints, a smaller one for a second try or one hint, and a gentle one after that. Sounds, haptics, and a bit of confetti make it feel like a game without turning it into one. There are no ads, no coins to buy, and nothing to spend.
When do parents use badges and rewards?
A reluctant practicer
A visible streak and a badge to chase can make "one quick sheet" an easier sell.
A perfectionist
Comeback Kid and Curious Mind show that needing help isn't failing.
Summer routine
Week Warrior and Month of Mastery give a daily habit a finish line.
How does the streak work?
The streak counts consecutive days with at least one finished practice session. Parents see the current and longest streak in progress insights. If you turn on reminders, Easy Twin can send an optional nudge when a streak is at risk. Reminders are off until you turn them on.
Frequently asked questions
Can my child lose a badge?
No. Each badge is earned once and kept. A streak can reset if a day is missed, but streak badges already earned stay.
Are there in-app purchases inside the kids' quiz?
No. There are no coins, ads, or purchases in practice mode. Purchases only happen in the parent-facing paywall, through Apple.
What counts as a practice day for the streak?
A day counts when your child finishes at least one practice quiz in the app.
Will the app nag my child to keep a streak?
Only if you turn reminders on. Notifications are off by default; if you enable them, Easy Twin can send an occasional streak nudge or a weekly recap, and you can switch them off in Settings.
