Backup and sync across your iPhone and iPad
Easy Twin backs up your worksheets, practice results, streaks, badges, and credit balance to a private, anonymous account, so nothing is lost if you reinstall or get a new phone. Sign in with Apple, which is optional, and the same library and progress appear on your other iPhones and iPads. Photos of your child's work are never part of the backup.

What gets backed up?
Everything you'd be sad to lose, except the photos. Easy Twin creates an anonymous account the first time you open it, with no name, email, or password, and backs up to it automatically:
- Your twin worksheets and answer keys
- Practice results, hints used, streaks, and badges
- Your credit balance and purchase history
Scanned page images stay on the device. They are used to create the twin and are never stored on Easy Twin's servers or included in the backup.
How do I use Easy Twin on more than one device?
Sign in with Apple under Settings → Account & backup. Linking your Apple Account makes the same worksheets, progress, and credits appear on your other iPhones and iPads. Handy if you scan on your phone and your child practices on an iPad. As a thank-you, linking adds 3 bonus scans, once per account.
How does backup and sync work?
Use the app as normal
Backup happens automatically in the background to your anonymous account.
Sign in with Apple (optional)
Settings → Account & backup → Continue with Apple. You choose whether to share your email.
Open Easy Twin on another device
Sign in with the same Apple Account and your library and progress appear.

Can two parents share one library?
Yes, if you both sign in with the same Apple Account on your devices. Easy Twin keeps one library and one practice profile per account for now; separate child profiles are planned. If you subscribe to Easy Twin Pro, it's also available to your Apple Family Sharing group, so a partner on their own Apple Account gets Pro too.
When do parents use backup and sync?
A new phone
Worksheets, progress, and credits come back after you reinstall.
Scan on the phone, practice on the iPad
Sign in with Apple on both and the twin is waiting on the bigger screen.
Homeschool co-teaching
Both adults can see the same library and insights on the same Apple Account.
How do I delete my data?
Swipe left on a worksheet to delete it and its scans. To delete everything, go to Settings → Account & backup → Delete account, which removes your data from the device and from Easy Twin's servers. Details are in the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
Can my child practice on an iPad while I scan on my iPhone?
Yes. Sign in with Apple on both devices under Settings → Account & backup, and the same worksheets, progress, and credits appear on each.
I got a new phone. How do I get my worksheets back?
Install Easy Twin and, if you linked your account, sign in with the same Apple Account under Settings → Account & backup. Worksheets, progress, and credits restore from your backup. Purchases can also be restored with Restore purchases.
Are worksheet photos backed up?
No. Scanned page images stay on the device where you took them and are never uploaded to Easy Twin's servers. The twin worksheets, answer keys, and practice results are what get backed up.
Do I have to sign in with Apple?
No. Signing in is optional. Without it, your data is still backed up to an anonymous account on that device; signing in adds syncing across your iPhones and iPads.
What happens if I sign out?
Signing out returns the app to a device-only anonymous account. Your data stays with the Apple-linked account and comes back when you sign in again.
