What is Easy Twin?

Easy Twin is an iPhone app for parents that scans a child's school worksheet and uses AI to create a "twin" worksheet that practices the same skills with new numbers, names, and wording, ready to print or solve interactively.

Why was Easy Twin built?

Easy Twin started with a parent's problem: a worksheet comes home with a few wrong answers, and the only practice on hand is that same page, with answers the child already remembers. Making a new version by hand, with different numbers, is a chore nobody does twice.

So Easy Twin does it from a photo: point the camera at the page, and moments later there's a new version that practices exactly the same skills.

Who makes Easy Twin?

Easy Twin is made and published by Churchory LLC, a small independent software company. Questions and feedback go to mschen21@gmail.com, and the support page covers the common ones.

How does Easy Twin use AI?

Easy Twin uses AI for one job: reading a photographed worksheet and writing a matching practice sheet. The AI is instructed to act as a careful K–8 curriculum designer, to read only the printed questions, to write one new question per original that practices the identical skill, and to add two hints, acceptable answers, and worked steps for each.

It is also told to be honest: if it can't read part of a page, it skips those questions and says so rather than guessing, and if it can't read the page at all, your scan is refunded.

What isn't the AI used for?

• It doesn't chat with your child or answer open questions.
• It doesn't build a profile of your child, show ads, or make recommendations to sell anything.
• Your photos and answers aren't used to train Easy Twin's AI: the page is sent to Google's Gemini API under terms where Google states it doesn't use requests to improve its products.
• It doesn't replace the teacher. Twins are practice for what's already being taught, and every twin is AI-written, so a quick look before handing it over is always wise.

How does Easy Twin handle kids' data?

Easy Twin is built for parents and isn't directed at children under 13. The approach is simple: collect as little as possible and keep the photos off our servers.

• Worksheet photos stay on your device and are only sent to be read; they're never stored on Easy Twin's servers.
• The app creates an anonymous account with no name, email, or password; Sign in with Apple is optional.
• No ads, no advertising identifier, no data selling, no tracking across apps.
• Delete a worksheet with a swipe, or everything from Settings → Account & backup → Delete account.
