See what's sticking with parent progress insights
Every quiz your child finishes feeds a simple parent view in Easy Twin. It shows how many answers came on the first try, how many needed help, minutes practiced this week, the daily streak, and a ranked list of the tricky skills where your child used the most hints or missed the most.

What does the insights view show?
The insights view answers "is this practice working?" at a glance. On the home screen there's a small card; tap it for the full view:
| Insight | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| First try / with help / needs review | How answers split across your child's last 30 practice sessions |
| Hint dependency | How often questions needed a hint or extra tries |
| Minutes this week | Active practice time for each of the last 7 days, plus an all-time total |
| Tricky spots | Skills ranked by hints used plus misses, with the worksheets they came from |
| Streak | Current and longest run of days with practice |
| Badges and recent sessions | What your child has earned and when they last practiced |
What are "tricky spots"?
Tricky spots are the specific skills your child is struggling with right now. Because every twin question is labeled with the precise skill it practices, Easy Twin can add up the hints and misses by skill rather than by worksheet. Instead of "math is hard", you see something like "subtracting across zeros: 4 hints, 3 misses", along with which worksheets it came from. That's the thing to scan and practice next, or to mention to the teacher.
How does progress insights work?
Your child practices
Every finished quiz records first-try answers, hints, tries, and active minutes.
Open the insights card
The card on the home screen summarizes the week; tap it for charts and tricky spots.
Act on it
Print a Review Sheet of the missed questions, or scan the next worksheet on that skill.
How is practice time counted?
Only active practice counts. If your child closes the app or walks away mid-quiz, that time isn't added. It's a small detail, but it means "20 minutes this week" really means 20 minutes of practice.
When do parents use progress insights?
Parent-teacher conference
Bring specific skills, not a vague worry. Tricky spots name them.
Deciding what to practice this weekend

Who can see this data?
Whoever holds the phone. Practice results are stored on your device and backed up to your anonymous Easy Twin account so they survive a reinstall, and they never include photos of your child's work. If you sign in with Apple, the same insights appear on your other iPhones and iPads. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find progress insights?
Progress insights are on the Easy Twin home screen: a summary card shows this week at a glance, and tapping it opens the full view with charts, tricky spots, streaks, and badges.
How far back do the insights go?
Accuracy and tricky spots are based on your child's most recent 30 completed practice sessions, minutes are shown for each of the last 7 days, and an all-time total of practice minutes is kept too.
Do printed worksheets count toward insights?
No. Insights come from practice done in the app's interactive quiz, because that's where Easy Twin can see tries and hints. Printed worksheets are graded by you with the answer key.
Can I track more than one child?
Not separately yet. Easy Twin keeps one practice profile per account for now, so insights combine everyone who practices on it. Separate child profiles are planned.

Guides for parents
Parent-Teacher Conference Questions to Ask About Math and Reading
The best questions to ask at a parent-teacher conference are specific ones about your child's actual work, like "Which math skill should we practice at home?" and "What do you notice when my child reads aloud?" This guide gives parents questions for math and reading by grade band, a 15-minute way to prepare, how to read report-card language, and a simple two-week plan for turning the teacher's feedback into practice.
Fractions practice at home: a parent's guide by grade
Fractions usually start in 1st or 2nd grade with halves and fourths of shapes and build to dividing fractions in 6th grade. This guide lays out what is commonly taught at each grade, the mistakes parents see most, and short, low-prep ways to practice fractions at home.
Multiplication Fact Fluency: How Much Practice Is Enough?
For most children, enough multiplication fact practice means a few focused minutes on most days, spread over weeks, on facts they already understand, until they can answer accurately without counting. This guide explains the order to learn facts in, a weekly routine, how to use timed practice without stress, and how to tell when your child is ready to move on.
